Is Aura OS actually free?
Yes. Aura is free for your first two participants: the full app, no time limit, no credit card. Every audit feature is included: Commission PDF, MAR, shift handover, Fair Work scan, branded policy PDFs. Above two participants you move to a simple band ($290/mo for 3–10 participants, then 11–30 and 31–60), which also adds the Xero integration, PACE CSV export, plan-manager invoice PDFs and cross-tenant Connect messaging.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Aura OS runs in your web browser. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Your support workers can log shifts from their phone without downloading an app.
Is my participant data secure?
Yes. Data stays on secure Australian infrastructure via Netlify/AWS Sydney. Your clinical reports and incident details are stored in Australia; AI features process the content you choose via a named sub-processor (Anthropic, US), and error reporting and payments use named US sub-processors, all listed in our privacy policy. Will it work for my 2-participant business?
Yes, that’s exactly who the free tier is built for. Support one or two participants and Aura is free, with the same audit-ready tools as a 50-participant provider.
Can I change plans any time?
Yes. Your band simply follows the number of participants you support: nothing to upgrade or cancel. If you reduce your caseload, the band follows it back down. Billing is managed in one click from the portal inside the app.
